Hello all,

I'm new to this forum, and found you guys while looking for some assistance.

Over the 4th of July holiday weekend, I migrated our SBS 2003 server to SBS 2008 Standard. All-in-all it went quite smoothly. The email took a long time to copy (expected), as did the data using robocopy (didn't expect to run into so many access denied problems, but oh well), and everything is now up and running on the new box with one exception...SharePoint

We use SharePoint quite a bit, but following the migration instructions, I am able to get the information and databases copied from the source (2003) server to the destination (2008) server and it works perfectly as http://Oldcompanyweb. The stsadm tool works with no errors when exporting both the companyweb and oldcompanyweb. However, when I use stsadm to import the oldcompanyweb backup file into http://companyweb, it goes a little way then gives me Access denied.

It gives 89 warnings about 'The specified user could not be found'

I can post parts of the log if needed. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris
