Sorry kind of a newbie question if you will...
I currently have a win2000 sp4 domain...
i purchased a new server running win 2008 x32 standard
I want to use only the win 2008 server instead of the win2000 server as my dc...does anyone know if this is ok.....or if it is possibile....or where i can find some insturctions or directions on this type of thing....It would be greatly appreciated in advance......THANKS!@!!! :)

You will first need to prepare the Windows 2000 Domain for the new server. To do this, you will use the ADPREP tool from the Server 2008 DVD. Here is a link to the instructions for adding an additional domain controller...
